Wayne from Melbourne, AustraliaI really like how the chair balances out the soap dispenser. I think in this instance the slight off focus look adds depth and character to the photo...very nice. Great job! 29 Jan 2007 9:45am Duncan Galbraith from kyoto, JapanCoin laundrys (Ive become japanese when I refer to these places), are great. Theyre almost tragically beautiful. Im not even sure where the 'tragic' comes from, but I always get a sad sensation when I'm in them. It's weird. MAybe because once theyre built they're rarely maintained, so they become as the above image shows. But I do like them. Makes me wish my machine would break down so I have more excuses to go down to my local again. 29 Jan 2007 11:03am Alfredo J. Martiz J. from Tokyo, JapanI like the coin machine with all the writings and posters, reminds me to a punk band album of something like that! 29 Jan 2007 1:02pm Paul Ricciardi from West Hartford, United StatesVery well done, the processing adds to the photo a lot. Nice composition, the chair balances things out as mentioned earlier and the posters and stickers are all really interesting. Like it, good job. 29 Jan 2007 2:44pm Barbro from SwedenA well balanced image and an interesting composition, the black and white processing adds to the atmosphere of this shot. I must agree with Duncan, I to get a strange sad feeling from these places. 29 Jan 2007 3:27pm Stu from Kyoto, JapanA very sad and lonely yet compelling image. Great comp and b&w. 30 Jan 2007 4:26am Darren from JapanNice shot mate. Your processing skills are getting better with every image. 30 Jan 2007 4:56am susankritha from Bristol, United KingdomVery good shot! Like the way you have captured the details in there! 30 Jan 2007 2:09pm Damon Schreiber from Toronto, CanadaAn excellent image! Love the tones, the OMO, Surf, and almost subliminal Dream at the right. 30 Jan 2007 7:02pm Michael from Glasgow, United KingdomIt's amazing how these places look the same the world over. The processing captures it perfectly. It's been years since I've used one. 30 Jan 2007 11:15pm |
