Evelyn from New Milford, United StatesNice work on this series, Chris! I like this one. It seems to tie up the series with a very finished feel. I like how the lines gather near the light, so that they might also be emanating from it. Lines are the defining characteristic of this one. 16 Feb 2007 6:23am Bronnie from Christchurch, New Zealanda great completion shot - the old car, and the light and the powerlines are all pulling together. The wetness on the street and pavement saturate the whole emotion of the shot. 16 Feb 2007 7:16am anton from United KingdomNice. Kind of spooky like the poster for The Excorcist. ;) 16 Feb 2007 2:39pm Jp from Downingtown, United StatesChris, I very much admire your work and I loved this series. If anything I wish there was just a little bit more detail in the shadows on this one. 16 Feb 2007 3:52pm Rene from Kitchener-Waterloo, CanadaInteresting images, they provoke a fair bit of thinking on my part. Nice. 16 Feb 2007 8:20pm Michael from Glasgow, United KingdomGreat stuff. Nice highlights being picked out by the single light. Reminds me of Jackson Browne's late for the sky album cover....by night. 17 Feb 2007 11:50pm Duncan Galbraith from kyoto, Japanspooky stuff. The car and the lit doorway seem to form a narrative. For me another unsettling one. As if someones paying someone a wee midnight visit but the darkness of the scene throws it all into the noir-ish arena as Craig mentioned. Its like a mafia hit from the 50's. 18 Feb 2007 2:52am Alfredo J. Martiz J. from Tokyo, JapanNice mood in this one, I like the old car there giving it a cosanostra feeling, maybe Don Corleone is around! 18 Feb 2007 7:31am Fred from Easton PA, United StatesI really enjoyed this series, something is very compelling about the gloom you've captured in these photos . 18 Feb 2007 9:04am Michelle Bialowas from Melbourne Victoria, AustraliaGreat series Chris - I've really enjoyed it. 18 Feb 2007 11:51am shutterfirefly from Singaporei've always wanted to visit melbourne...great mood in this one. 18 Feb 2007 11:59am Lisa from United StatesWow, that's a gorgeous photo.
