Stu from Kyoto, JapanMy goodness! Looks like Camp X-Ray! The effect of that amazing sky really lends itself to the foreground scene. Another great shot from you Chris. Super composition and pp. I don't mind saying that your work of late has been most inspirational. 16 Mar 2007 12:58pm Yvon from Meerkerk, NetherlandsDramatic and a bit scary. Looks like a prison camp. The sky looks amazing. Well done! 16 Mar 2007 3:07pm Jen from Jessup, United StatesFeels like something is coming and it's not good! The back wall will open up to something horrendous...yeah I have quite an imagination : ) 16 Mar 2007 8:45pm filipe franco from Lagoa, Azores, PortugalBeautiful work my friend! Congratulations... 17 Mar 2007 3:42am Michael from Glasgow, United KingdomWhat a brilliant inage. The sky is amazing and really adds to the mood of the shot. Wonderful processing. The composition with the lines converging to the end of the nets is great too. very nicely done. 17 Mar 2007 8:24pm Michelle Bialowas from Melbourne Victoria, AustraliaExcellent composition, wonderful power, fantastic photography. Can only of been taken by a talented visual communicator. 18 Mar 2007 7:10am Barbro from SwedenWhat a superb image Chris with a strange feeling of imminent threat to it. I really like the heavy sky and the composition with the net walls leading up to the concrete wall at the back, very eerie. 18 Mar 2007 3:02pm Fred from Easton PA, United StatesGreat lines and your processing turned this from an ordinary shot to and extraordinary one ! 18 Mar 2007 8:54pm Lisa from Buffalo, United StatesThis is wonderful - really beautiful tones and sense of drama - really like the streaky sky. 19 Mar 2007 2:34pm Duncan Galbraith from kyoto, JapanDamn Chris! sublime processing. I dont even know how to do this, let alone do it so well! And many thanks for the continued support during my AM3 absence. Its appreciated more than you can imagine. Feeling rather better of late and hope to be around more. Missed the site a lot actually. But its always nice to catch up. This has quite a foreboding quality, the confinement of the perspective/viewer, of nets either side and an immovable object to the front gives the impression the only way to go is back..recoil, retreat. Its a great utilization of a location and exploitation of Post processing techniques to come up with an image such as this. 28 Mar 2007 2:41pm reflected concepts from Kyoto, JapanI am going to cheat here...and say...'ditto' to Duncan...great! 21 Apr 2007 10:11am |
